Mazda 3 throttle response performance issue
It seems like everytime i try to increase the performance of my M3 2.3 the car just re-tunes itself. The problem is throttle response, this car always feels like i have to give it more gas than I should. Unless im at 4 - 5 K rpm. I did the CAI, and response was increase for about 30 min, then back to the lag. I increased the octane and I noticed a big improvement, for about 30 mintues, then just back to normal. Any ideas on how to outsmart the car......or is there a better way to get better response?

RE: Mazda 3 throttle response performance issue
Well, it's the MAF, probably. The 3's MAF is the same as the old Protege 1.6L MAF, and it is notorious for
not handling intake mods well. What kind of intake do you have?
The Simota ones that I've sold do not have the hesitation problem, and I've heard of perhaps one
other...it has to do with the piping diameter, best anyone can tell...
