Any advise on what to be concerned withon a newly purchased Millenia S? Well folks...I just jumped full in and purchased a '98 Millenia S today without a clue as to what I'm getting into. Guess I've done that a few times in my life. I happened to be looking for a sharp carfor occasional use. I came across the Millenia on line and pulled the trigger.The Carfax reports it as a life long state vehicle with no issues andwith records of regular maintenance. It currently has 130K but won't go into reverse. I got it for a $1100...figuring a tranny might run about $2K if needed. Comparedestimated totalcostto others I've seen online andit seemed to be reasonable. Only afterwards did Ilearn that the Miller, although sweet, may be difficult to service. I'll have the tranny looked at tomorrow (cross my fingers on that one), and hope the rest is all good. I'll do the usual intial services (coolant flush, oil change, mechanic evaluation, etc.). What might I expect on the longevity of this motor considering it was well maintained? Any immidiate concerns for this engine?
