Hi,

I have an '03 Mazda Protege 5, with new battery.

Pulled into Home Depot, returned to car and no start. No, clicking of solenoid, no whirring of starter, no attempt to turnover, all accessories working, checked battery posts and voltage all fine. Finally, accepted help for a boost and the threat of intrusion caused the car to start with no problem. Problem happeneda few more times, shifted car into drive and back to park...voila! Started! Any suggestions??? I just don't want to spend an arm and a leg if it is something simple that has been seen before.
