my headlights on my mazda 3 seem to be pointing down toward the road. Can I adjust them

 

yes but may take a special tool,the adjusters should be located under the hood around the head light.you may have to remove a cover over the head lights to access the adjusters.if you do not havethe proper tool to make the adjustment you should be able to purchase one at a local parts store very resonable.
