Default GREDDY BOOST GAUGE QUESTION

I just bought the Greddy boost gauge and the directions are telling me to fit from the 3-way joint connector, the tube from the intake manifold, the fuel pressure regulator and then the last one to the boost sensor. I have the HKS SSQV blow-off valve and the tube from the intake manifold connects to the blow-off valve. My concern is, if I hook up the boost gauge the way the directions say, I'll have to disconnect the intake manifold tube form the blow-off valve and connect it to the 3-way joint which will leave an open connection on the blow-off valve. Is there a way around this or would it work if I just cut the intake manifold line and put a t-connector in it and run it to the boost sensor? I would appreciate any help, thanks guys.

Default RE: GREDDY BOOST GAUGE QUESTION

I am personally not familiar w/these gauges. But I have installed a few vacuum gauges in my day, including in my current Mz3. Since a vacuum/boost gauge has much in common w/it's lil' sister, the vacuumgauge, why can't it just be installed in any available port or access as long as it's after the turbo? In my '04 na, there is an unused/plugged port on the intake at cyl #4. Don't know of the Speeds are the same though.

And Sick, the next time you have a question, please pick ONE forum to post it in. Starting 3 new threads in 3 different sub-forums for one question seems like overkill to me....
