Exclamation ford escort bpt gtx swap no fire

Hey everybody. I bought a 95 escort gt a while back with a BPT from a gtx. Loved the car drove it alot then got rearended and smashed. I bought a stock 96 escort lx (1.9). to swap my bpt into. did the whole swap, switched the ecu and got all gauges and turbo timer working fine but car has no fire.

ive double and triple checked all my plugins and everything looks good. there is one (ford) plugin that is comming out of the main wireharness behind the intake that i cant find where it pugs in, also two green wires comming from the tranny for the reverse lights i belive that are not hooked up.

the ford one coming from the main harness looks like the pic i made that i have attached.
it just plugs into two small rectangle plugs. that is the only two things i can think of why it has no fire. any help would be great. thank you

check the harness and look for some pin out diagrams for the ecu. if you are using the non-turbo harness, you may have some backwards clips. check the grounding locations for the coils also. you may need to run an extra ground there.

I would just recommend going with the gtx harness if you still have it. if not, a couple hours with a pin-out diagram and a multimeter will establish continuity and tell you where to go next.

the clip you are describing sounds like either an injector clip or the electric thermostat plug.
