Hey all,
i recently got a CX-3. I’m enjoying it a lot, but I have one concern. I appreciate that it automatically locks the door at a certain point, but find it odd that it unlocks all the doors as soon as I turn the car off. It seems like anyone familiar with the car could know this and jump in. I’m a fairly paranoid woman (with reason) so I’m wondering if there’s a way to adjust this feature? Let me know, thanks!

 

Depending on settings/sec grade, you should be able to go into MZD and select when they lock & under what conditions they unlock. If in doubt, visit your local dealer.

 

Go into the settings in the central display and see all the options and set up your Mazda the way you want. There should be a few options for locking and unlocking.

I set mine to lock when I go into drive and unlock when I go into park. I want people to wait until I am ready for them to open a door before they open a door. That works for me.
