Cx 5 proximity sensor
Hi everyone, new here.
I've just purchased a 2015 2wd and was wondering if there's a fault or a quirk with the proximity sensor?
Mazda wouldn't help so turning to you lot.
When driving and pulling up closely to any obstruction on front, the sensor doesn't operate.
Yet, when I reverse, both rear and forward facing sensors trigger.
Is this a quirk or fault?
Thanks to anyone who replies!

Welcome to the forum, @Mickm! If the forward sensors are not triggering at all, it's likely a fault rather than a quirk. I'd recommend contacting Mazda again to see if they can provide any guidance or a fix under warranty. Failing that, a local mechanic familiar with Mazdas may be able to diagnose and repair it for you.
