Does anyone have a unlimited access to CarFax reports? After taking our Tribute TWICE to the dealership for repairs, we're still having problems. Long story short, wife wants another vehicle and I would like to get a CarFax report for my own vehicle.

You realize a Carfax report will only indicate things that got turned into insurance for repair, right?

If a guy bought a wrecked car and fixed it in his garage - you won't see that on any Carfax report.

 

I don't know if it's true, but a dealer told me that they don't offer unlimited accounts any longer. There is an offer for one free report on KBB.com / Autotrader.com, but it probably requires some kind of purchase. I've never tried it.

The previous poster is correct. Carfax can't cover everything, but it would reveal any major repairs at a dealership or via an insurance claim. You can find recall information without using Carfax. Just Google it.
