I have a 1999 Mazda Astina 323. The car runs well but over the last 12months or so about 1 in 3 times when starting the car it idles for approx 2 seconds and then cuts out. When this happens generally if I re-start the engine a couple of more times the engine remains running and drives no problem. What could be the problem? I disabled the alarm a few years ago as it was playing up so not sure if thats contributed to the problem? Also some of the car electrics are playing up a little.
