Can I swap my new generation FOB with the previous gen?

Default Can I swap my new generation FOB with the previous gen?
I have the 2020 CX-30. Love the car. But the key FOB is a total piece of doodoo. Can I get the older version and have it programmed by a locksmith, or am I stuck with the newer version?
