I just got a 2004 Tribute with 80k miles. I replaced the pads and rotors on the front.First time you press the pedal it goes down about halfway to floor and if you let up and press the pedal again the brakes work great, pedal right up on top.The hydraulics weren't messed with so didn't feel like there was air in the lines but to be sure I bled the fronts and got no air out of it. I'm kind of leaning toward master cylinder now. I'd hate to buy one and it not fix the problem. Anyone got ideas?
