I purchased a rebuilt engine last year for my Mazda B2200. Was on last leg of install and the distributor would not got into housing... I took a closer look to find out that the hosing had been Tig welded on a spot were the belt had rubbed through the aluminum. I replaced the housing from my old engine, new water pump components. Now the new belt is still tracking toward the engine rubbing on the housing and spring. I was hoping that the new water pump and idler wheels would help but no luck. Otherwise the truck runs great! I have only seen someone asking about this on another thread with no solution. I'm out of ideas… please help.
