Hi - new boy here - have a 1992 B2000 pickup with a whinning 3rd and fifth gear. Looking for new gearbox and in Uk they are rare as old b2000s seem to get sold for export for silly money. Am I right in thinking the MX5 (Miata) gearbox fits by changing the bell housing? Is this the best option? I use the pickup for work but also love it (!) and am trying to slowly tart it up. If it is interchangeable is there a MX5 model/year/code I should be looking? Also there would seem to be a 6 speed gearbox available for the MX5 which would be quite funky - would that fit?

Also does anyone know of any performance parts suppliers in the UK as the market seems un interested over here compared to what is available in the USA.
