Anyone know the Navigation Package...
well enough to give me some help here? I have a 2010 M6i GT with Tech and Nav packages. When I connected my mobile phone last night, I was given the option of downloading the contacts in my phone over to the car, which it did successfully. So I tried the Pick Up button on the steering wheel and the Voice Recog feature gave me the available command options. I stated "Call" and the system responded that I had an empty address book even though I confirmed visually that my entire phonebook from my mobile phone had indeed transferred to the car's memory. Now, yes my phone was successfully paired and was still connected. This morning, I tried it again and again it reported that my phonebook was empty. This time I had left my phone in the house. The system asked me if I wanted to add a contact, so I affirmed and went though the verbal exchange of data and it was successful. I tried calling home and it worked, albeit very low volume. Now, does this mean I must add ALL of my mobile phone entries verbally? What was the reason for downloading the phonebook via my BT connection then? I get the feeling that there are two different storing processes here. One for Voice Recognition system and one for the BT system. Is this correct? Oh and one more rant. Why, in the hell, won't Mazda allow us to do our own Personalization? I'm losing respect for this company fast.
