Hey guys, new to this site but I have a couple mazdas and both have problems. The current issue i'm dealing with at the moment is my 96 protege. bought it for 350 and the only problem is the following: i can start the car and it idles fine, a little high but thats easily fixable, but when i move the shift **** into any gear it will not actually shift. i the **** itself has no problem and there's no unnatural reistance when moving it, but the tranny itself will not shift. regardless of if its idling at 2k or 500 rpm. Any thoughts? I will very much be grateful for any help.
