32.000miles and 100% broken engine
My Mazda CX-5 2.2t diesel 175 AWD broke down a few weeks ago, when a 100% broken engine. It has passed 32.000miles and 2,5 years old. I bought it used, 10 months ago.
Now they present me for a bill on 14.500 USD, if I want a new engine. No warranty.
I've read several stories about the 2.2l diesel, e.g. this one:
Mazda announces fix for CX-5 oil problem - motoring.com.au
Backlash over Mazda CX-5 diesel oil issues
And so on...
So my question is, do you have any knowledge in my aid to convince Mazda to bring out some cash and pay for it?
It has been in the autoshop for 5 weeks and they changed the camshaft etc. and thought the car was fixed, but no. Then they re-assembled it even more and suddenly it was my problem and my bill.
Any input? Or maybe a link to a used 2.2 175hk engine including the turbo?
