I have a 2016 Mazda CX-5, AWD, Grand Touring with adaptive cruise control and automatic hill brake hold feature. However the cruise control always disengages at around 25 mph and needs to be "resumed" upon slight acceleration, as most adaptive cruise controls. I would like to somehow modifiy or re-program the computer to be able to work as the newer models which have Stop and Go ACC. I would need detailed instructions on how to do this, since I know some people were successful with this mod, but they left a lot to be desired as far as how they did it ! I am familiar with others who have done the same modification to 2012 Chryler 300 adaptive cruise controls, and made it into stop and go capability by reprogramming the vehicle's computer. Thanks in advance... any one suggesting that I should sell the car and buy a new model with the feature already in it will be disregarded !!
