My 2012 Mazda 3 has 22,500 miles on it. I took it into the dealership because I couldn't shift it into gear and when attempting to shift the clutch pedal has to be depressed 3/4 of its travel before engaging. The dealership is telling me I need a new clutch and replacement of the slave cylinder for the clutch. They are telling me the clutch isn't covered under the warranty because its a wear item. Has any one else run into this problem? Thanks for your help.
