2005 MPV LX MPG's
*posting here as well to gain some additional visibility on my question. 
hello all, new to the forum, so glad to be here.
my question is on the average MPG for the MPV. It is rated at 18 city, so I was hoping to get close to that. In the month I've owned it, I am only getting 15 at best with a range of about 220 miles. Does this seem right? Any ideas or insight on how I can improve these numbers? It just doesn't seem right.
I also have a 2005 Escape with the same 3.0 liter V6 and it gets consistent 20MPG city with a range of about 280-300 miles. Figured the MPV would best that.
