Well, if you're doing lots of short-trip, stop-and-go driving with the A/C blasting and have the car fitted out with an automatic transmission, then 20 mpg is probably as good as you can expect.

What kind of fuel economy do you get on a long highway trip?

Isnt that a V6? If so then thats pretty good since MSN averages MPGs for the MPV city 18 and highway roughly about 22-25. if its a 4 banger then not so good.

google - poor gas mileage

mines a manual, 1800cc engine. Surely it has to be better than that and we dont use the a/c where we live.

mazda 5 2007 version.

Dear Neo123,
If you really having problems with fuel consumption, get fuel pump and especially nozzles checked by an authenticated mechanics. This would really be a way forward to save a lot of money.
