2001 Millenia
Normal or not, 01 Millenia, at 65 mph the rpm is at 3000. I feel this is high for a V6 to get good mileagei, I can feel the transmission shift 3 times, 4speed. Am I missing an over drive??

That sounds normal to me, though I am not all that familiar w/the Millenia models.
The Miller Cycle engine is a small V6 which makes power in the higher RPM range and is by design a higher revving, short stroke engine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_K_engine#KJ-ZEM (80.30 mm bore 74.20 mm stroke, 2255 cc)
If the trans is shifting three times from a standing stop, then you are in 4th gear, which would also be OD mode.
