I have a 2000 Mazda mpv Lx that is pre-wired for fog lights. I bought a fog light switch and tried to hook up aftermarket lights to the pre-existing wiring harness, but no luck. I checked the fusses, checked the relays, but still no power to wiring harness. Any idea what I'm doing wrong??

 

Are you trying to get power with the headlights or parking lights on ? as that is the only time the fog lights come on on a tribute

 

Yes with headlights on still no power to wiring harness behind the marker lights. Have power to switch and power to fuse but no power to harness
