Default 1990 626 died & won't start

Hello, I'm a new guy to the forum in need of some help. I was driving my 626 work car home when slowing down to stop it died. I have no spark & don't think the fuel injectors are putting fuel to the motor. I replaced the distr.,cap & rotor. also replaced the external coil. Can anyone help? Thanks Burchett out

Pull the distributor cap back off and with someone else cranking the engine, make sure the distributor rotor is turning. Could have broken and timing belt and this is a easy check to see if that is the case. No rotor turning equals either broken timing belt or camshaft.

Hello again, I replaced the rotor, cap, ignitor, & external coil. I am starting to think maybe a relay is not working. I have dash lights but no spark or injector noise, I can not smell any fuel smell and all plugs are new and dry. Timing belt is new, I am lost with this no spark no fuel problem. I use the car to drive to and from work to keep miles off my large Super Duty Diesel (of course) Thanks to all that has and will posts.

So I assume that the distributor is turning when cranking the engine??
Do you have power to the White w/ Red stripe wires at the fuel injectors.
Do you have power to the postive side of the ignition coil. This would be the Black w/ White stripe wire side.
If you do have power to the positive side of the coil then does the negative side flash with engine cranking over and a 12 volt test light on the negative side of coil. Clamp end of test light on negative battery post?

sounds to me more like a broken wire, these kinda problems are generally pretty simple problems but hard to find, check the feed wires and terminals into the coil, don't really know the engine..
