'03 Tribute 3.0 V-6 Tune up
My Tribute has just over 100k miles on it. Just recently (last two days) it has developed a very noticable engine mis-fire. The check engine flashes several times. After looking at the manual it indicated an engine mis-fire. With this being said I know that it is due for a set of plugs and need advice on how to change them out. The front three are a given, however the back three are under the intake manifold?????With the mis-fire being inconsistant I am thinking it may be a bad coil or maybe the crank sensor???? I don't have access to a scanner. Any help is VERY much appreciated. Thanks on advance for your help.

It is quite involved, but not that bad. You do have to remove the intake so you will want to replace the intake o'rings...they aren't very expensive anyway. I am not sure about whether the coils are likely to be bad or not, would seem to me the most likely candidate would be the spark plugs with 100k on the engine
