Default 01 626 alarm problem???

It's a 2001 626 with factory alarm. The remote only seems to work when it wants??? The remote is only a few months old and was bought and programed at the dealer. When using the door lock button the alarm sets fine. Sometimes it works to set the alarm start to walk away forget something turn around it doesn't work anymore........ Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

I once had a fault with a sticking key reminder switch on the ignition switch it would stick telling the BCM that the key was still in the ignition but in actual fact the key was in my hand try that hope it helps.
