Question mazda b2500 lowered advice needed !

hi i have lowered my 2005 b2500 so that the wheels are nearly up to the archers
but still have the standard shocks which is proving to be to soft and a bit bouncy.
does anyone know if i can put some more stiffer shocks from a more sportyer mazda will they be the same fitting ?
and what would be the best thing to do to stiffen the ride as i know most people
do the opposite to what im do lol.
if anyone could help this would be grate !

I have never lowered a vehicle, therefore everything that follows is theory.

One way to lower a vehicle is to use lowering springs and shocks. these springs are shorter but harder. The shocks should be shorter as well but most important is the valving in them. They need to be harder in order to match the harder springs. Since the whole suspension is harder now you should consider harder sway bars as well. That thing should ride like a go cart.

If you used a lowering kit consisting of blocks and shackles only, you really moved the whole assembly closer to the end of travel and you are bouncing around on the rubber stops.
