95 626 uses two different data link connectors for retrieving engine codes, neither of which are OBDII.
Both connectors are up by the battery. 4 cyl ATX used a Ford style connector that you would need a star tester or other older Ford combatible tool to get codes. The 4 cyl MTX and V6 engine both use a square box that has DIAGNOSIS letter across the top. Code retrieval with this style is done by grounding the TEN pin, turning the key to run position and counting the long and short flashes of the CEL. Below is what the Mazda style looks line when cover is opened.
