Speaker stopped working
The tweeter speaker in the driver side A-pillar stopped working recently in my 2023 CX-5 S. Less than 30k miles on the car. Anyone had a similar problem and found a fix?
Ypu are still under warranty and should go to a Mazda dealership. If you tamper with your sound system and damage it or other related system connect electronics you could loose that part of your warranty protection more then just the sound system.
Had a similar problem with my 2014 CX5 GT while it was under warranty. Dealer fixed it with no problems and it's still working ten years later.
Sorry to hear that. Replacing the speaker entails a bit of work and, if you have the Bose system, you have to find Bose compatible speakers. Further, it may not be the speaker, but a loose or broken wire or a bad connection to the amplifier or the head unit. You're probably still better off taking it to a dealer. A stereo shop might be a bit cheaper, but they need to be aware of the idiosyncracies of Bose if it is a Bose unit.
If it is a BOSE system there is more service and technical info but please confirm that first.
If it is not then you need to do a speaker test for both signal to the speaker and that the speaker is working. As you stated that it is only the tweeter then you can rule out the head unit and or the amplifier.

Your bumper to bumper warrant only lasted 3 years? That's total BS in my books and I would contact Mazda for confirmation on what is cover for how long. Most cars sold here have at least 5 years B to B warranty (including Mazda) many have 5 to 10 years and your car is just 3 years old.
