look under your driver's dash. there will be some grommets somewhere up in there. thats wat i used.

and does the transformer have to be grounded??
if not, just stick it on any flat surface.

oh wait, u drive a mazda6... meh, just look around..

yea the transformer needs to be grounded...im thinking about putting it in the trunk b/c at the top of my trunk there is a nice spot for it where the sub is for my bosestereo system...it would be a good spot but the now the wiring isnt long enough so now i need to buy extensions....

i also need to buy extensions for the under kit because they arent long enough either....

they should increase the length of wire that they give with the kit...

well you could always put the transformer under your dash or where ever, the put the ground somewhere on the firewall.

as for extending the wiring, just buy the same gauge wire, and your set. make sure you sauter (sp?) the connections too, and cover everything up. you dont want water getting in there

He means solder the wires. Yeah, good advice. ALWAYS solder where/when possible.

Get some of the correct sized heat shrink tubing for the individual soldered wires, some silicon grease to coat the whole thing with (look in the plumbing section of your local Home Depot. It's messy but well worth it,) and some wire loom that you can electrical tape over the entire run of wire and you should be set for a long, long time.

Bye-bye post #700!!
