Default TPMS & new tires

I just purchased a new set of tires. My TPMS is off compared to my gauge. Does the TPMS have to be re-calibrated? How is this done?

Regards

So all your tires psi are inaccurate? You are not exactly clear with your post or question?

Also a FYI when you ask a technical question you should always give the information about your vehicle like year and model! regardless of the forum area you post in !
It is always the first question any service shop or service Technician is going to ask you!

I would check the accuracy of your gaugefirst. Unless you have a high-quality gauge $$$ most ALL cheap (inexpensive) gauge and especially the pencil style gauges are not accurate.
And never trust the pressure hose gauges at any air fill station!

A debate/argument on many forums is about the accuracy of tire pressure gauges.
The only 2 gauges out of some 12-15 tire pressure gauges I own varying from pencil, digital ,analog etc. testing each one and comparing the results that are accurate is the one I use for racing my Longacre and my Craftsmen's Digital. All the other gauge varied being off from 1-5psi and some it depended on how you pressed it on the valve to get the reading? HA!
