finally got mynew grille off ebay. i gota say alot of items on ebay say 03-06 mazda 6 parts but are really for 03-05 cars. this grille i bought says no modifications, direct bolt on. i guess so if i had an 03-05 bumper, lol. i had to trim my bumper up a bit and shave the tabs off the bottom on the new grilleto make it fit properly. now that its in it looks great. i think im even going to leave it black. it looks good in black becasueit compliments the black lower grille and bumper inserts. what do you think??

the grill would look better with the frame painted to match the color of your car and the mesh still black to match, but i dont mind the black frame either.

 

I dunno, I prefer seeing the Maz emblem.

ya i suppose its a matter of personal preference.

i drive a true red 2007 Mazda3s HB and i like the stock grill actually. the huge honeycomb style grill lets a huge airflow to my radiator and then up a bit near the mazda badge its got the slits which look agressive i think.

so i kept that stock actually.

 

It looks like one of the best de-badged front ends I have seen, I really have sean some horrible ones that look like crap.

 

doesn't look to bad for just the black honeycomb grille but i would prefer the mazda sign in the grill, but i have yet to find one because you are right the ones on ebay say they fit an 06 but they do not i have an 06 and can not find the black grille with the mazda emblem built in so if anyone has any solutions please reply

 

It seems to fit VERY well, a rare thing for AM grills, but get it color matched.
What you REALLY need to lose is that front plate that says NJ on it.
