Default Ksport Adjustable Coilovers

are these pretty nice for my car? (2006 mazda 3 s 5-door)i took a look around the site, and i saw that virgin said they had a bit of a harsher ride to them, so i was wondering what other brands/etc was pretty good...(i have over 1k to spend, so im not worried about that.)

if you have that kind of loot you should go ahead and buy the mazdaspeed suspension kit from the dealer, for more info follow this link http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/spee...ModelYear=2004

All coil overs will ride harsher. They will lower the car, though in a mechanicallydifferent way than sport springs will.Loweringin and of itself will stiffen the ride because you are reducing the amount of overall travel the suspension has and shortening the spring.Plus coil overs usuallycome w/muchstiffer springs to begin with. Though they can often be switched for lighter or stiffer coils at a price, you cannot expect them to ride like a DD should. They are not really meant for use in your daily driver, but can be used as such if you"re willing to pay the price (buckboard ride, sore back.)
That said, the K-Sports are beautiful. Really nice machine work. Beautiful to look at, imo.

k-sport is one of the top brands on the track, but isn't the most perfect for a daily.

one thing not mentioned here; since they are coil-overs, the struts are designed to be progressively stiffer as you adjust the coils. imo, it makes a drive more fun since the car doesn't hop and hop over bumps, but just takes the bump head-on and bounces once. it does, however, get old after a while of feeling every bump down the freeways.

which is exactly why i recommend the mazdaspeed coilovers, imo the perfect balance between ride comfort and road coarse like stability around turns.
