Mysterious brake sound no mechanic can solve
2016 mazda 6 touring 6 speed
Braking noise that 2 mechanics can't figure out. This happened after changing brakes and rotors. Had them recut no change. No wheel vibration or pulling. Brakes were taken apart a few times to inspect, no change. Mechanic changed the pins, no change.
this does not happen braking in reverse.
the sound is very loud and prominent right at the end of braking as you come to a full stop.

The video's not the best but from what I can pick up it does not sound break but axle related. This is a guess only because I have herd similar sound on customers as well one of my vehicles. When the vehicle is on the rack and the front suspension hanging the sound is not there because no weight resistance. I had to finally use a sound meter to determine it was the output shaft seal was causing the sound and increased the sound level when light braking. So because most of the time there was high mileage on the axles I replaced the axle assembly any bearing if applicable and the output shaft seal The sound was cured.
A theory :Because the sound came about after your brakes only means that the suspension was hung at some point in a position not normal and the wear already existing on the axle or seal was accelerated.
This is all speculation (guessing) based on viewing the really short and poor quality videos and hearing what I think was a familiar sound?

Videos are hard to hear, but when the car is driving above about 15 mph , during braking you can hear a squeaking similar to the low brake pad warning. It's not until you get very slow do you hear the other sound, which I'll admit does sound like a suspension sound, but the second you come off the brake it goes away.

At this point go to a *Firestone (in your area) and get a free inspection....
* most Firestone will only use a Trained Mechanic with some form of certifications?

Haha to be fair, I had a local guy do the brakes, thats when the noise started. Went back 3 times, that's when they tried recutting and changed the pins thinking maybe there was a little play in them.
Mazda looked at them because I was bringing it in to warranty replace the tensioner. I asked them about the noise and they determined to replace struts.
They said "well we do see so some hot spots on the rotors."
