umm to save games. If you want to do the game storing hack, splice the system with a 500GB HD and store entire games, and DVDs, but you'l have to hack into the system.

oh ok.
cuz ive heard of peope making their xbox into a computer...
like, they have windows on their xbox and stuff, and they just save games and stuff on it....
so i take it the 20gb hard drive is just like the memory card on the ps2 then eh?

and how hard would it be to splice into the system to be able to save games onto the hard drive??

yeah, it's ;like a memory car. only memory cards usually hold about 256 MB which is 1/80 of the 20 gig hard drive. So a 20 gi HD is like having 80 memory cards.

well its usually a hack
then you need a modded chip to be able to play the saved games

as far as using the xbox as a computer I am unaware of any mods for that
however it is basicly a hard drive for information. so in since it is a computer but for running windows. dont think so

its like my PSP i have it hacked and modded so I can play downloaded games. psp games, nintendo games, psx games. its actually fun
playing FF9 right now on it. on the 3rd disk

thread revival!!!!

alright, so im pretty much leaning towards an Xbox 360 now.
but i want some opinion on it.
for grand theft auto, are the controls pretty much similar to the PS2's controls?
i want the xbox for the better controls on racing games.
its way more throttle sensitve than PS2's.

oh, and wat about that 'red ring of death' on the 360's?
is it common at all? or has that glitch already been taking care of?

i dont know bout the new 360s coming out, but the red ring of death isnt so common. i got it once only because my brother tripped over the power plug. but still, make sure u get the extended warranty for it just in case. also gta controls are about the same.. not tto mention 360 has much better games out..
