Did you see Spike TV's Trucks show where they did a project called Cheap Cherokee? I LOVE the 4.0L straight 6!! Great engine. On a side note, I used to work for a Jeep dealer back in the mid-late '80's. Xj's and YJ's as well as CJ7's were the order of the day then. |
Mine would be either my '02 Jeep Liberty..
Or my first love, my 1982 Chevy Citation, built like a tank. The problem was, this tank had a very small engine, which liked to blow, three times actually. I don't have a pic of the actuall one, but it looked like this. Only brown. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2173/...6a8b429d2b.jpg And you couldnt pay that thing to rust. |
virgin1, no i didn't see that show. maybe i'll try to see if it's on you tube. i'd love to see what they did to that jeep! i wish the straight 6 came in my mazda. lol!

Try www.powerblock.com/trucks And yes, that 4.0L can be made into a real beast if done correctly. Even if only mildly modded, it has a lot of potential. GREAT engine that straight 6!! |
The boy's '93 mkii VW Golf.
Slammed, shaved and on awesome wheels. It's a fun little car. |

I also enjoy both of these cars. It might sit in the snow but it never gets driven in it.

I used to love Honda and Acura and big fan of their car. I even have a 07 Acura TL myself. But given how their car progressively going worse and worse in styling and design.....I went from loving their cars to hating them all now. Not that their car isn't good, is just they really got somework to do with the way they design their cars. Back in the 90s, all of Honda cars are stylish and great looking. Early 2000s, things start going downhill to now, I am even embarass to be in any of their car, so freaking fugly.
Obviously I love Mazda or else I wouldn't be on this forum. These days though, a lot of American cars have pretty good appeal to me that I wouldn't mind having one. You know the car I really wanted to get my hands on owning one if I got extra cash to burn would be a Pontiac G8...hehe...the lastest model that is. They don't make those anymore and that brand is gone for good. Most unfortunate. But for now...that is a little day dreaming on my end..haha. |
