Default What car would you spend your hard earned money on?

I am in the new car market and would like your input. Out of these cars which do you think is the all around best?

I am looking at the 2007 for all of these, except the Lancer is 2008.

I am looking for a city run around car. Something that is fun to drive, comfortable on long trips, fairly good fuel economy, good power to weight, nice clean comfertableinterior and something that is built solid and will be reliable.

I would just like to knoweveryones personal favorite of these 8.

Thanks for the help.

Hey Orange,I'm not very good w/ this whole computer thing,(i.e., I don't know how to post a link) so I'll just tell you: the new consumer reports this week came out, and it's all about 06-07-08 model year cars, with about 5-7 yrs history of reliability charts for each model, something like 240 models of cars. What you are looking for in a vehicle, according to your post, would best be met by a Honda Civic or a subaru, and I am not talking opinion rather than numbers, cold hard numbers derived from owners of the very vehicles you are looking into. I would definitely give the mag a quick look, it's very useful for seeing what the problem areas are in any particular vehicle before you buy, fuel consumption, reliability, paint, brakes, engine, etc. They are pretty comprehensive, at least from a consumer's standpoint.

i would pick the 3 GT, but if some of those other cars were the higher trim lines, that might change.

I say the subaru or the civic if nothing else than longevity, and slow depreciation.

Those were some of the main reasons for my original statement.
