Weigh-In: The Phillies or the Rays?
The Boys of Summer:
Game1 of the World Serious started 2 innings ago and both teams are looking REAL good!!
What do you think?
If the poll feature here had been working, I would"ve set one up, but as it is I"ll just have to try and keep track manually.

The Philadelphia Phillies (NL): 0
The Tampa Bay Rays (AL): 4

I'm pulling for the RAYS. Any team that can bump the evil empire (aka yankees) from the post season, and beat the red sux head on (anything to get those stupid chowder heads to zip it), is aclub I can like.
It's an odd and unexpected match up, makes it fun, and hard to predict.

When I lived in that area, most of my life, I was aPhillies fan through the bad and the good years.
And, having been to see the Mets several times in their formative years including their biggest year to date, 1969, I had been known to root for them also.
However since moving to Texas have come to appreciate the AL a lot more, so I"m rather torn w/this particular series. Because of these discrepancies, I will abstain from the vote at this time.

Well, it"s now 2-1 Phillies, but I can"t say I"ve been impressed w/most of the playing I"ve seen so far.
The game was rain delayed by 1-1/2hrs and I watched into the 4th inning last night, then fell asleep.W/my work schedule these days I"m not used to being up that late anymore.
I woke up @ the end of the eighth and fell asleep again during the ninth. "Did not see the end of the game.

well it is the world serious LOL. and sad thing is you edited the post there richard. wow. so phillies are up. ****ty. go rays. if the jays were in it, it would be like 93 all over again.
