I observed Jemery Clarkson test driving a new Vauxhall VXR8 on an old episode of Top Gear. It appears to me that this vehicle has a GM 6.0 V8, looks exactly like it. Now that I think of it the rear end looks like it was borrowed from a GTO. Its a nice car, especially the 550 hp supercharged model.

 

The gto was a vauxhall before it was built in the states.

 

yea the GTO is actually a aussie design which is really a vuaxhall vxr8, everything in the GTO is aussie design except motor and trans. (old news )
