LOL. thats probably because they dont ask that question what is the real name for the car in japan. they prolly just assume it would be the mazda3. i mean all the other cars that come from japan to canada are called the same things such as the corolla and the accord. however i notice around here. i was actually at my mazda dealership in acton. and a guy who was waiting on his girlfriend who was taking in her 3 in for some repair. and the guy had himself a jetta. but i looked at the jetta because it looked really nice and it said it was the "bora". im like woah what is this. hes like a jetta and im like but it says bora. and he laughs and says ya thats what it is in germany. made me feel dumb

thats wat i figured... i saw a jetta with a "bora" badge on it too.
and fyi, over in japan, the accord is our TSX.
also, toyota and Lexus is the same company, (ie, toyota Altezza, instead of Lexus IS300), infinity and nissan, honda and acura, etc etc

i was just at the Mazda dealership here in Burlington, to buy a new mazda badge.
5 minutes i come back out, and see a dealer outside looking at my car.
him: "did you just paint the badges?"
me: "ya"
him: "wats that?" (pointing to my axela badge)
me: "thats wat the mazda3 is called in Japan"
him: "cool!"
you thinka dealer would know wat a car is called in its land of origin, but i guess not.

. the one you saw with a "bora" badge a black one with i think like lowered and black rims. we probably saw the same one.

actually there is a road directly from guelph ish to burlington. its called guelph line XD. i know cuz i went to the burlington dealership to look at mazdas... ended up in acton cuz i got a better deal there then in guelph

i live in a little small town between guelph and acton. where guelph line actually starts XD. little town of rockwood haha. there are so many mazda3's here it is unbelievable. but mine is like the newest and youll know its me cuz its always playing loud music . good to know that there are people fairly close to me on here
