To take apartheadlights? Use a hair dryer on high to soften the glue holding the glass to the housings.

they are a seperate piece. its the clear corner (turn signal)
so using a hair dryer on high for a long period of time to heat that black crappy glue and slowly pull it apart?

yep. If it doesn't work you can put it in the oven, but I don't know at what temperature and you'd be at your own risk.

ok so update.

the silicone mold stuff I got sucks, it really isnt for molding.
lets just say the top 1/32nd of a inch is hard but the rest is still liquid.
going to order the mold making package from micro-mark
mostly used for small scale trains.

well I got the lens off the but there is so much nasty black glue on it im not sure what to take it off with

I stuck it in the freezer for about 20 minutes but its still goopy, (ice cube on glue method)

im gonna head to walmart for some goop remover, or a local car store today.

anyone have any ideas real quick?

also I ordered my new molding material, stuff used by peoples who build model trains.
but this stuff is suppose to be good.

So hopefully I can make these and also sell them here.
what do ya guys think?
