A "wangsta!" I love it.
'Guess in my generation that would equivalent to a yippie, huh?I know I'm getting older, 'cause the whole thought of being a gangsta escapes me anyway. I mean, fighting a system that doesn't work in hopes of somepositive change is one thing, but putting on a show... like the rappers seems to be, to act like you've been (or have been) arrested for dastardly deeds against another person, making it by definition personal, is quite another.

I agree w/everything you just said, but think it's really sad just the same.
Bees and ants survive catastrophe because they instinctively know that thewhole is more important than the individual. In the human race, we haven't learned what these non-thinking creatures already know.
We're not getting better as a race. We are getting WORSE, and it's frustrating to me.
what you all said is extremely true. the reason i listen to rap is because i like the beat to it.. ye a i singalong sometimes but that is probably because ive heard it a bunch of times. now see noone will ever assassinate a prime minister because nobody cares really about the canadian government.. hell im not even too sure who the prime minister is right now lol.
i agree the beats r sometimes catchy, but the message is totally effed... advancing technologies supposed to make us smarter.. we're getting lazier.. and dumber.. and more violent..
