1948 MG, TD Type. A buddy of mine has one identical to this. I love it!

Hey Cl8ton - sorry to pick nits but that is a picture of a TC not TD. The large 16" wire wheels are a dead giveaway. And it is truly a lovely car. Friend of mine had a '46 TC (one of the first to come to the USA after WWII) right hand drive - which was strange - but what an absolutely wonderful car. He sold it a couple of years ago for a small fortune. Wish I could have afforded it.

Good eye! I called him to confirm and he does have a TC not a TD. I have know idea where "TD" came from. I must be losing it.[sm=smiley29.gif] Sorry about that.

2002 Mazda Rx-7 RZ

Lightweight carbon hood and difusers. Limited edition BBS wheels, aluminum alloy chassis, lightweight sparco interior pannels with red stitching, a retuned suspension, and lag free twin hitachi ball bearing turbo chargers bringing the car up to Japan's legal limit for hp to weight ratio ( the car has 280hp and weighs 2,730 pounds and it is 3 hp from being illegal in Japan). Also being rotary, horse power levels are effective of about 310hp in a piston engine car. (an example of this is that my 180hp 3000 pound car can beat a 220 hp 2,900 pound cobalt SS because of the way a rotary delivers its power to the wheels)

1965 Alfa Romeo Sprint Speciale - I showed this car in concours d elegance shows in the early 70s. Loved it. Rare car - only 268 made. All aluminum engine and drive train - dual overhead cams - five speed - dual Weber carbs - amazing aerodynamics for its day - the faster you drove it the more it squatted down and hugged the road.

Can't beat the good ol' Z06 in my eyes. Cheap (fora "supercar"), easy enough to throw about as you will. Kind of like a rich man's Miata.
