Nintendo made a gold edition of every zelda game. If it was made in the first half year of production it was gold. They did it for th enintendo, super nintendo, NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64, Game boy, and even the gamecube. There are always gold and silver Zeldas.

Oh hell yeah... I always loved the Mega Man series. All of the Zelda games, except Zelda II: The Adventures of Link, kicked ***. I think Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time were the all-time best of the Zelda series. Hopefully, the Twilight Princess for Gamecube will be as good as those two were. I loved SMB2 and SMB3. Super Mario World and Super Mario 64 were awesome too. I still have my NES, SNES, N64, and GCN - I sold my DS with Super Mario DS. The NES is no longer working though [X(] All is well though because they are all playable through the wonders of emulation on PC or Xbox N64 emulation sucks though. When the Nintendo Revolution comes out this year, the user will be able to download and play NES, SNES, and N64 games on it. It will also be backwards compatable with GCN games as well. Very cool.

I think the last time I played a video game was around 1987. So I do not know much about the modern ones.
