New Rx-7 for me
Ok guys. I am in another Rx-7. It's a 1983 Mazda Rx-7 GSL with the 6 port 13B engine, transmission, and differential swapped in from an 85 GSL-SE. 232K miles on the body, 80K on the parts taken from the swap. It runs really well. Webber dual barrel Carb, Racing beat high performance 6 port intake manifold, racingbeat high flow long racing header, high flow racingbeat 2-into-one collector, custom 2.5 inch straight stainless steel pipe to replace the stock 3 cats, and a gutted stock muffler(this thing is LOUD).

Old Rx-7 is gone, mom didn't want it around anymore
. But this is still really nice, and the paint isn't too bad. I might Macco it white later for super cheap with a weekend of sanding first.

The old car was destroyed in the accident, Jaimie. That's the point.
But he might have been able to put the drivetrain, of parts of it into the new car?
SPeeDy!!! It's a project car!!! He's got work to do on it and I'm sure he knows that.
I still like the first gen 7's... and the second gens, and the third gens..... But after shopping hard for oneabout 11yrs ago, I'm not sure they'd be for me... not as my DD anyway.
My A-Hole Bro-in-Law hada first genwhen my sister married him. He traded it in on a Town Car and has driven them ever since. 'Course, in his defense they were living in Boston back then and the car was very rusty when he sold it. It was a silver 5-sp... '82 I think?
Okay guys, I know the TII was better. Hell, you should've seen it after paint. but it's now been sold, and has had all it's guts swapped into an 88 chassis with 105k miles to match the 105K engine. This new Rx-7 is my replacement. It was only 1000 bucks and pulls just as hard, so I'm happy.
