ok then here goes....

I am currently trying to use a rotary vane air pump off of a mazda car to superchrage a small single cylinder moped, but I need some tech specs for the air pump so as nto to totally ***** things up, seeing as this is a mazda forum i thought someof you might be like mazda workshop engineers and know what I need to know or maybe provide the info if you didnt mind...
this is the pump

as you can see its a air pump off of a car built in 1993 (all I can remember) I would reaslly like to know which was the air IN side and how fast this thing ran flat out?
or failing that the diameter of the pulley on the engine it ran off so I can work out the rpms based on that.
the clutch I have available is the electromagnetic clutch off the front of this unit.

hope this helps clarify things

Nick
ps this is what I am intending on supercharging
