Never heard of 'em. I take it that's a gas station franchise in your area, like Race Track is in mine? Buy it from whatever source (broker) has surplus and the cheapest prices too?

I run Shell almost exclusively in mine, and usually from the same station and pump too. For a few cents savings to buy the cheap stuff, it just ain't worth it to me.

The only time I ever floored the gas was on my old 99 protege when I struggle to squeeze out every last ounce power out that tiny 1.6L engine to pass someone on freeway going uphill...that was a real challenge...haha...and probably very stupid thing to do too. I am surprise that car engine never had problem yet at 150K miles. But I still got rid of it cuz of some other expensive repair coming up. Decided I don't want to mess with it anymore and just gave it away to my brother-in-law to mess with.

I have a heavy foot, always have. Thus I flog on my car a lot, I see WOT at least 3-4 times a week, though it's usually more. Never had any issues thus far and I'm currently at 96k miles, and I got the car at 15k.

Assuming one stays under "Red-Line", putting the pedal to the metal is far less harmful to an engine than sitting at a stop light waiting for a "green". I routinely "floor" my cars and have driven them hundreds of thousands of miles with never an engine related issue (transmissions however are a different story).

The cars I only ever floor are 4 cylinder engine car. I find it unnecessary and probably unsafe too to floor v6 cars when I already got plenty of power. Trying to not get speeding ticket. Heavy truck or SUV v6 is fine cuz they are heavy so sometimes flooring is necessary to enter freeway from full stop. But not with a v6 car. Especially my other car the 07 TL, going up steep hill at 70 mph still a walk in the park, like as if on flat ground. If I even step the gas a little harder, it make me going way faster than everybody else that struggle to go uphill and very unsafe. I am talking about while most cars struggle going steep uphill at 50-60mph, my v6 TL just fly throught them at 70-80mph easily. Any faster than that I think is unsafe. Yea u can call me chicken, but I like my nice car in one piece, not crashed..lol.

Where are you from? The speeding law from your state must be pretty lenient. Here in Cali speeding at 100 or over you are going straight to jail!!!
