Default Has anyone had this happen?

Just wondering if anyone has had the pleasure of their Reg Plate being taken?! And not by the Police! LOL

Just got some kind of circular about datemyplate.com (let's you mail a driver to say hi, or even rate their bad driving lol) so I registered hehe.

Looks good, quite a novel idea but what a cheesy name lol....anyone on it hear? I've not got a message yet to my plate :-( Might have to get a sticker lol...

My mother -in-law had one of her plates switched on her 75 Chevy pu. Wierd thing is that the idiot stole a plate that had stickers that were about to expire. Whereas the plate that had put on hers had more time on it. Stupid crooks

I checked out the website and found it to be interesting... here's what i found to help you all out! I don't think i'll be joining it as I see potential for identity theft because not only do they have your license, but also your email, name, location, age, sex, etc.

As a Premium member you can :-

Do everything a Standard member can and in addition .....

Receive messages from other DateMyPlate members. If someone sees you in your car or finds you on the site and wants to get in touch then they can leave you a message

See which DateMyPlate members have shown interest in you or rated you - you know you want to!

Create a list of your online 'Buddies' for quick and easy access and to see if they are online

Block other users from mailing or rating you

Change your preferences for receiving notification emails or hiding your number plate

I think this should be illegal. I'd be mad if someone got my info my reading my license plate! (Unless it's a cop...obviously.)

How can it be illegal? What is the difference between them seeing you on the road or messaging you on a website
