Did i forget?
To mention that i went to philadelphia for a while thats why ive ben absent from here (as if anybody noticed). Well anyway it was my first time there and it was awesome, the reason why i went down there was because a coupe of my friends told me about a major street racing scene down in the hometown, so of course how could i refuse.
It was me in my 3, my friend Martell in his civic, and my other friend Leon in his Jetta, on our way down there of course we set up races with each other until we got to the point where we had to stay behind Martell cuz he was the only one who knew where to go, but before we got to that point for some reason i was the only one being challenged to a race by people we were driving by, but to save gas i only raced a V-spec Sentra, i won and that was the end of that.
I wish i had brought my camara because the scenery on the way there was beautiful, and once we got there it was a sight to behold. We hung out at Martells grandfathers house, but it was just us three, basically for a week straight we stayed at the house and went to block parties until 11:00pm then we head out to street racing locations, until 3:30am.
Every location we went to for a week had an outrageous amount of street racers, with perfect racing conditions i.e flat road, no cops, no innocent bystandars, in all honesty it was like seeing the part in F&F3 when they were in the parking lot building but that was just one location. But my fav spot out of the ~20 we went to was the airstrip. Oh and did the mention the kick *** cars, there were supras new and old, twin turbo and N/A, a few skylines, srt-4's, lancers, rx-7, mustangs, the whole nine yards, the car were like nothing ive seen before, these guys knew there stuff and were sporting some heavy horsepower under the hood. But i tell ya i felt so outta place there, it was bad enough that they knew i was not a familier (leon and martell have been in philly before so they were alright) but i was the only 3 out there so they wanted a crack at me but i declined...but that didnt stop them, they waited until i left to run in there cars and chase me down.
So thats my surprise vaction, sorry for no pics
