On the west coast it's called pop at least in Oregon and Washington. I never knew what grits were untill I went to a waffle house in Pensacola, FL. I didn't even know what a Krystal burger was.

I think we have a Krystal burger going in in San Antonio so I will get to try one soon. Here in South Texas grits are not as popular. Tacos and Huevos Rancheros are the way to go.

Well, I'm from as far north as it get in the US without venturing through Maine or Canada (though I am further north than some parts of Canada), and no one I know uses the term "pop." That's a south of here thing. It is soda. Or, we call it by the actual name of the product. Anyway, back on topic...

I'm a beer snob. I am very picky about my beers....current ones that are okay:
Sam Adams (regular, light, summer ale, winter lager), Corona, Corona Light, Killian's Irish Red, Oktorberfest, Red Hook IPA, Budweiser Select. If I feel adventurous I may have another kind, but usually I stick with "chick drinks" - Smirnoff Twisted V, Bacardi Silver, especially the orange one..[sm=icon_guiness.gif] At the bars, I usually play it safe and order mixed drinks such as Cape Codders, Midori sours, or daquiris.

you just described pretty much all of my friends. its strange how they drink to get obliterated any chance they have, but youll rarely find me with alcohol in my blood. im not much of a drinker. im the only one out of my five good friends i grew up with that hasnt been arrested for underage drinking...some of my buddies have four underages. jackasses. ill stick to marijuana, thank you very much.
